The variety is a tetraploid form possessing high growth and the ability to maintain quality parameters under intensive use. Studies note its potential in nitrogen uptake, especially on poor soils, as well as the specific chemical composition of the forage mass.

The purpose of the variety includes use in forage production for obtaining silage and creating pastures. The crop can also be used as an intermediate cover crop for biomass accumulation and binding of soil nutrients. In the Baltic region, the variety is used as a reference sample of tetraploid Italian ryegrass.
