The variety is a representative of the Westerwold ryegrass group. Genetically, it belongs to diploid forms. It possesses high growth intensity and rapid development in the year of sowing.

It is used as a forage crop for obtaining green mass, hay or silage, and also as a green manure crop. The plant is valued for its ability to actively suppress weeds, however, it can be sensitive to unfavorable winter conditions, drought, and lodging.
