The variety is diploid and belongs to the late or very late maturity group. It is distinguished by intensive growth and rapid shoot formation as early as the year of sowing, which ensures high green mass yield throughout the season. Resistance to rust is rated as moderate.
The produce is used for green fodder, silage, and hay, including cultivation in mixtures with legumes. The variety is suitable for multiple cuts and as a catch crop after harvesting cereals.
The seeding rate is 40–45 kg/ha with a seed sowing depth of 1–2 cm. Sowing dates vary up to the end of April for the main crop and up to the end of August for the catch crop. The variety prefers moist loamy and peat soils, tolerates slightly acidic soils and shading, and is responsive to nitrogen application.
