The variety is an annual plant with pronounced alternativeness, capable of heading in the year of sowing regardless of the planting time. It belongs to the diploid type with a thousand kernel weight in the range of 2–3 grams.

The plant is used as an intermediate forage crop for obtaining green mass between main crops. The recommended seeding rate for pure sowing is 20–25 kg/ha, with a seeding depth of 1 cm.
