Barmultra is a forage crop intended for establishing stands with a duration of use from 6 to 18 months. The variety is a tetraploid Italian ryegrass, providing high yields of green mass.

Currently, the variety is considered obsolete and has been replaced by the Barmultra II version, which possesses improved dry matter yield characteristics, increased resistance to diseases, and higher persistence in the sward.
