The variety belongs to the westerwoldicum type and is early-maturing. Due to its biological characteristics, the plant behaves as a strictly annual crop. The variety possesses high adaptability to various growing conditions and is effective when used on floodplain lands.
The plant is distinguished by good forage quality and high crude protein content. Despite susceptibility to rust, early flowering times allow the variety to avoid the peak of spring infection. The variety demonstrates increased tolerance to soil salinity in comparison with a number of analogues.
The main purpose of the variety is to obtain early winter green forage when grown both in pure stands and in mixtures with oats. It is also used as a cover crop for rapid grass stand formation when establishing or overseeding pastures.
