The variety is tetraploid and classified as Westerwold ryegrass, which is characterized by very rapid growth and a short life cycle. The plant possesses a high regrowth rate after mowing.

The primary purpose of the variety is forage use for silage, grazing, or green mass production. It is often used in grass mixtures, including those with clover, for intensive forage production or overseeding into existing pastures. The produce has good digestibility, making it suitable for dairy cattle diets.
