The variety is diploid (2n) and is comparable to tetraploid varieties in terms of yield. Plants form a large leaf mass, while the lower moisture content contributes to faster drying of the mown material.

The variety shows intensive regrowth after mowing and good spring growth. It is intended for forage production in the form of hay, haylage, or green mass and is suitable for use in short-rotation grass stands for a period of 2–3 years.
