Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety was bred through selection based on the LE 284 variety. The plant belongs to the westerwoldicum type and does not require vernalization to transition to flowering. Compared to the parent material, the variety has a more prostrate growth habit, increased leafiness, and a longer development cycle, which ensures high productivity.

Used as a forage crop to obtain a quick yield of green mass, and is also applied as part of grass mixtures and as a cover crop. The variety shows good resistance to rust and is actively used in studies of growth rates and leaf mass accumulation.
