The variety was bred at the Hladké Životice breeding station in the Czech Republic using polyploidy methods. It is a polyploid form, which provides specific genetic characteristics that distinguish it from diploid varieties.

Used as a fodder crop. In specialized publications, the variety serves as a subject for studying yield under various nitrogen fertilization regimes, as well as in tests for resistance to abiotic and biotic stresses.
