The variety is used as a forage crop. Studies confirm its suitability for silage production and evaluate green and dry matter productivity. Forage quality indicators are characterized by a low neutral detergent fiber (NDF) content.

The variety demonstrates varying yield indicators, which depend on agrotechnics, in particular on the level of irrigation and nitrogen fertilization. The response of the variety's root system to soil salinity was also studied.
