The plant possesses above-average winter hardiness, ensuring its longevity in stands. The variety exhibits resistance to major diseases, including rust, snow mold, and bacterial wilt.

The crop is used for establishing monoculture pastures and as part of grass mixtures in intensive livestock farming. In terms of yield level, this variety is comparable to some tetraploid analogs.
