The variety is a tetraploid, which results in larger cells, wider leaves, and increased green mass productivity compared to diploid forms. The variety is being tested for susceptibility to nematodes of the species M. chitwoodi, M. fallax, and M. hapla.

The plant is intended for use in forage grass mixtures or as a standalone crop for hay, haylage, or green fodder, providing the possibility of obtaining multiple cuts in one season.
