The variety is tetraploid (4n). It is distinguished by a high growth rate and the ability to provide up to 6 cuts per season under favorable conditions or irrigation. It reaches optimal forage maturity 60–75 days after sowing.

The variety's produce is distinguished by a high content of water-soluble carbohydrates. The plant possesses excellent disease resistance and forms a well-developed root system, which contributes to improving soil structure.

The variety is used for direct mowing for green fodder, as part of grass mixtures, as a green manure or catch crop. It is also used for overseeding in clover crops and as a cover crop for the restoration of meadows and pastures.
