The variety is classified as a tetraploid form, and it does not belong to the Westerwold ryegrass type. In scientific experiments, this crop is often used as a reference sample when evaluating green mass yield under the application of various types of fertilizers.

The plant is intended for forage use. It is characterized by high adaptability to soil conditions, in particular, the ability to assimilate nutrients from acidic soils, and a high rate of regrowth after mowing.
