The variety belongs to tetraploid lines of Italian ryegrass and is considered as an annual crop type. Due to its tetraploid status, it possesses larger cell and organ sizes, including wider leaves compared to diploid forms.

The variety is intended for forage purposes, in particular as a component of grass mixtures with clover. In publications, the variety is mentioned in the context of agrotechnical studies of productivity and crop competitiveness.
