Muriello is a diploid variety of Italian ryegrass. The plant is intended for use in agriculture as a forage crop for the production of hay and green fodder.

In agronomic trials, the variety is evaluated by the indicator of organic matter digestibility and resistance to powdery mildew. According to field research data, in the first harvest year, the soil coverage index is about 57 percent.
