Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a diploid plant of intermediate maturity. The variety was developed as part of a program to create high-sugar grasses, aimed at improving the nutrition of ruminants and increasing the environmental efficiency of agriculture.

The plant is used as a forage crop for the formation of pastures and hayfields. The variety is included in the official lists of recommended grasses of the UK, which confirms its productivity, winter hardiness, and resistance to diseases under practical farming conditions.
