Variety description

10 August 2026

Barlennium is distinguished by a fine leaf texture and a rich dark green color. The variety features rapid germination and rooting, forming a dense sward that effectively competes with weeds. It possesses high wear tolerance, which allows for its use at sports facilities.

The plant demonstrates good resistance to Lolium diseases and is adapted to various growing conditions. The variety tolerates mowing well: the recommended mowing height is from 2.5 to 5 cm, with intensive maintenance, mowing down to 1.3 cm is possible. It has a bunch-type growth habit and does not form underground rhizomes.
