The variety belongs to the mid-early or mid-late maturity group. It was actively used in the 1990s and early 2000s and was included in a number of European national agricultural plant catalogues.

In modern scientific literature, the variety is mentioned in the context of analyzing the composition of forage crops and evaluating the longevity of grass mixtures. The variety is not identical to modern varieties of ryegrass, such as «Барорландо».
