The variety belongs to tetraploid (4n) forms and is intended for forage use. Trials have shown that the dry matter yield of the variety is higher compared to diploid varieties depending on the cutting frequency, while providing a higher protein yield.

The plant has a growth habit classified as prostrate. The plant height after the vernalization period is rated as very low. The variety demonstrates relatively high winter hardiness compared to a number of diploid varieties.
