The Citation Fore variety is a specialized turf form of perennial ryegrass. It is distinguished by rapid development in the first year of sowing, forms dense turf, and is used in seed mixtures for golf courses and sports facilities.

A key feature of the variety is high resistance to leaf spot caused by the fungus Pyricularia oryzae. The variety also demonstrates the ability to resist the encroachment of annual bluegrass and to adapt to stress factors such as heat and changes in light levels.
