The variety is intended for creating high-quality turf covers, including golf courses, municipal and private lawns, and for overseeding. Breeding is based on material selected from old turf populations in a number of US states.
The plant possesses good resistance to stem rust and red thread. The presence of endophytes provides natural protection against surface pests. At the same time, the variety may demonstrate low tolerance to drought and intensive mechanical stress compared to modern analogues.
