The variety is a perennial bunch-type grass forming a dense sod without stolons or rhizomes. It includes subsequent generations Pennant II and Pennant III.
The plant has a fine leaf texture and dark green color. The variety is resistant to certain pests, such as cereal aphids and chinch bugs, and also tolerates low mowing and intensive physical stress well.
