Pennfine is a universal turfgrass intended for sports fields, golf courses, parks, and residential lawns. It is often used in seed mixtures in combination with Kentucky bluegrass or fescue.

The plant has a fine leaf texture, an intense green color, and is classified as a bunch-type grass. A key feature of the variety is the soft fiber structure, which ensures a clean cut during mowing. The variety is characterized by rapid germination and the formation of a dense turf.
