The variety is of the diploid type and is characterized as late-maturing. The origin of the variety is linked to the crossing of the Aberelan variety and breeding lines (DLF LFD-62846).

The variety is intended for forage production and use in seed mixtures for pastures and hayfields. During trials, high yield and good resistance to foliar diseases were noted.
