The variety belongs to the tetraploid group and is classified as late-flowering. When used with the Endo5 endophyte, the variety shows low ergovaline content and a moderately high level of peramine, which reduces toxicity to animals and protects against insect pests. The variety also has low susceptibility to bacterial wilt.

The ryegrass is intended for grazing livestock and is valued for its high forage quality. Tetraploid forms can be susceptible to damage from trampling on wet soils in the spring period. Data on plant height and lodging resistance are not available, as the variety is focused on the production of vegetative mass.
