The variety is tetraploid, which ensures larger cell size, increased sugar content, and better palatability for livestock. It belongs to the late-maturing group and is intended for intensive use in animal husbandry, including dairy farming and sheep farming.
The plant possesses high resistance to rust. The variety can be supplied with an Endo5 type endophyte, which increases endurance against pasture insect pests and contributes to better plant survival.
