The variety is diploid, characterized by a semi-prostrate growth habit in the autumn of the sowing year and an intermediate habit in the spring. The plant has narrow leaves of medium length, a short stem, and dense inflorescences of medium length with a moderate number of spikelets.
The variety possesses increased resistance to red thread, gray leaf spot, anthracnose, and stem rust. However, it is not drought tolerant and suffers severe damage from frost in snowless winters.
The ryegrass is recommended for use on sports fields, golf courses, in parks, and on home lawns as part of mixtures or as a monoculture. It is also used for turf renovation during the winter period.
