The TERPAS variety belongs to the late-heading group. Such varieties are characterized by a prostrate growth habit, high leafiness during the summer period, and increased persistence.
The plant was intended for use in long-term pasture mixtures. During variety trials in Finland, susceptibility of seeds to fungal diseases, specifically Helminthosporium siccans, was noted, and an analysis of the chemical composition of the green mass was conducted.
