The variety is a tetraploid form, which is characterized by more robust and thicker leaves, contributing to increased drought tolerance compared to diploid varieties. The variety is actively used in breeding programs and experiments evaluating the efficiency of grass mixtures, including those in combination with legume components.

The plant is distinguished by high product quality: in studies, the variety demonstrated an increased content of water-soluble carbohydrates and a reduced concentration of neutral detergent fiber. The high intensity of regeneration after mowing allows the variety to effectively compete with weeds.
