The variety is a tetraploid (2n=4x=28) hybrid obtained as a result of a breeding program to combine the traits of Italian ryegrass and perennial ryegrass. Before heading, it shows intensive early spring growth, and after heading, it exhibits high tillering and the formation of leafy regrowth. The variety is mid-season, with the heading date occurring approximately on May 22.
The plant possesses good longevity and high sward density. The produce is characterized by a high level of digestibility, excellent palatability, and an increased concentration of water-soluble carbohydrates. The variety is intended for flexible use in intensive grazing and forage harvesting, allowing for the extension of the livestock grazing season.
