The variety belongs to the diploid type with an intermediate heading time, occurring around May 25–26. The plant has a prostrate growth habit and demonstrates intensive early spring growth. Disease resistance is characterized as moderate, including ratings for crown rust, brown rust, and powdery mildew.
The variety is intended for the establishment of sown meadows and pastures within 3–4 year medium-term crop rotations. It is effective under intensive use of up to 4–5 cuts per year and is suitable for both silage harvesting and livestock grazing. The ability to grow at soil temperatures from 5–6°C allows for its use to obtain early spring forage.
