Belleek ryegrass possesses the ability for active spring development inherited from Italian ryegrass and maintains intensive growth rates after cuttings. At present, the variety has been removed from official commercial lists and seed supplies, and therefore detailed morphological documentation is limited to data from previous variety trials.
