The variety is a hybrid between Italian ryegrass (Lolium multiflorum) and perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne). It is intended for use in forage production.

In accordance with UPOV methodology, the variety is classified as a plant with a medium stem length. It is used as an object in molecular genetic studies of the genus Lolium.
