The variety is tetraploid and in its biological and morphological properties is closer to perennial ryegrass than to Italian ryegrass. The plant is characterized by a combination of early spring growth, typical of Italian ryegrass, and high sod density.

This variety is intended for use as a forage crop. It is used as part of high-productivity grass mixtures intended for intensive use over a medium-term period.
