The variety is the result of interspecific crossing of perennial ryegrass and Italian ryegrass. In its characteristics, it occupies an intermediate position between the parent species, possessing more intensive spring development than perennial ryegrass and better winter hardiness than Italian ryegrass.
The plant is suitable for both mowing and grazing by livestock. The variety is characterized by high dry matter yield, high digestibility, and nutritional value of the forage.
