The variety belongs to the hybrid (perco-like) type, which makes it morphologically similar to perennial ryegrass. The sward structure of the variety is similar to tetraploid perennial ryegrass, while it possesses a reduced tendency to form secondary generative tillers.
Phenologically, the variety is characterized by delayed spring development. It demonstrates consistently high yield over many years and is suitable for ensiling, livestock grazing, zero-grazing systems, and cultivation of raw material for biogas plants.
The variety was obtained as a result of interspecific crossing of Italian ryegrass (Lolium multiflorum) and perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne).
