Variety description

The variety originated as a natural mutation of the Maigrün form. The plant possesses a dense crown with thin, arching shoots. Without regular pruning, the shrub height is 1.2–1.8 m with a width of 1.5–2.2 m. The small oval-ovate leaves are most brightly colored in spring and during cold periods, acquiring a greenish hue in summer.

The plant tolerates pruning well and recovers quickly, which allows it to be used for creating borders and geometric shapes. In late spring, small fragrant cream or light yellow flowers may form, sometimes followed by violet-purple berries. The variety is resistant to pests and diseases; in harsh climatic conditions, it is capable of shedding part of its foliage.
