The variety was obtained through selection and hybridization of the «Táborský» variety and ecotypes from the Měšice area. The plant forms a semi-spreading bush with medium-length stems and lemon-yellow inflorescences; it possesses a deep branched root system.
The variety is resistant to a complex of mycoses that cause root rot in legumes and has medium resistance to leaf diseases and powdery mildew. It is characterized by good adaptability to dry, poor soils and tolerates temporary waterlogging and ice crust.
Dry matter yield is estimated as medium-high. After grazing, the variety regrows quickly; the forage is distinguished by a high content of nitrogenous substances and is well accepted by animals, which makes the variety suitable for horse grazing.
