The variety was created through selection from naturalized Uruguayan populations of birdsfoot trefoil. The plant has a semi-erect growth habit, which ensures increased tolerance to grazing and the ability to regrow actively after mowing.

The variety is characterized by high stem density, early maturity, and productivity exceeding that of the San Gabriel variety. It possesses pronounced disease resistance.

Intended for forage purposes in the establishment of pastures and hayfields. It can be used both in pure stands and as part of grass mixtures with cereal components.
