Plants of the variety develop slowly in the first year of life. In subsequent years, vegetation resumes early in the spring.

As part of breeding research, the effectiveness of various sowing dates, including spring coverless, under-sowing, and summer coverless, as well as seeding rates with various row spacings from 15 to 45 cm, were studied.
