The Zora variety is used as a forage crop for establishing hayfields and pastures. Its morphological characteristics and productivity were studied in the context of breeding work to increase the genetic diversity of the species.

In comparative trials, the seed yield of the variety was approximately 54 kg/ha. It was established that inoculation of seeds with nitrogen-fixing bacteria Mesorhizobium loti has a positive effect on plant development, contributing to an increase in the number of stems per unit area.

The variety possesses good adaptability to the local agro-ecological conditions of the regions of Southeastern Europe.
