The variety belongs to the late-maturing group of plants. The biomass of the variety, including straw and pod husks, has high nutritional value and is characterized by a crude protein and lignin content suitable for use in feeding ruminants, in particular sheep.

Quinolizidine alkaloids are present in the seeds and crop residues, which is a determining factor when planning the use of the harvest for feed and food purposes. The variety often acts as a reference sample when studying productivity and the dynamics of alkaloid synthesis depending on climatic factors.
