The plant belongs to the short-stemmed group with a stem length from 68 to 72 cm. The variety demonstrates an average seed yield of 1.17 t/ha in the Polissia zone and 1.62 t/ha in the Forest-Steppe zone.

The variety possesses relative resistance to a complex of diseases, including fungal diseases. It is used as a high-protein fodder crop and green manure for increasing soil fertility.
