The Cybis variety belongs to low-alkaloid lupin varieties. Its seeds are used as a high-protein component in animal feed. In scientific publications, the variety is used as an object for studying biochemical indicators of seeds and comparative analysis of feed quality.

It is characterized by a low content of neutral detergent fiber and acid detergent fiber. It is used in breeding experiments, including the study of the plant thermoneutrality trait.
