The tree is of medium height with a spreading spherical crown of medium density. It begins fruiting in the 5–6th year after planting and demonstrates high annual yield. The variety is undemanding regarding soil, tolerates drought and high humidity, however, it is susceptible to scab in years with heavy precipitation.

Fruits weighing 45–130 g have a flat-spherical or broadly conical shape. The ground color is light green with a yellowish tint, the cover color is violet-red with a waxy bloom. The flesh is greenish-white or yellowish-white, sometimes reddish under the skin, and possesses medium juiciness and a sweet-and-sour taste.

Harvest maturity occurs in early August. The fruits hold firmly on the branches, do not become mealy for a long time, and if harvested a few days before full maturity, they tolerate transportation well. The variety is often used as a pollinator for other apple trees.
