Trees of this variety are vigorous, reaching above-average sizes on fertile soils. The variety belongs to the early summer group, with fruits holding firmly on the branches. The winter hardiness of the variety is rated as high or above average.

The fruits are of medium size, have white, juicy, and tender flesh with a wine-sweet taste; they may become translucent upon ripening. The consumption period is short, as the fruits are prone to overripening quickly and becoming mealy after harvest. Under unfavorable conditions, trees may be affected by scab and powdery mildew.
