The variety is late, with harvest occurring in November, although fruits can remain on the tree until January. The tree is distinguished by moderate vigor and slow entry into the fruiting period. Fruiting is prone to periodicity; flowers bloom late, which protects them from spring frosts.

The fruits are small to medium in size and round in shape; the skin is yellow with an intense red-purple blush and pronounced russeting. The variety belongs to the bittersweet category and contains a large amount of tannins. The fruits store poorly and require resting for one to two weeks before processing.

The variety is self-sterile and requires the presence of pollinators. The plant has resistance to scab and is suitable for cultivation on trellises or as cordons. Fruit juice is used both for creating single-varietal drinks and for blending.
