The fruits are large, 77–85 mm in diameter, with pale yellow or greenish-yellow skin with orange stripes or a "tan". The whitish-yellow flesh is juicy, has a pleasant sweet-and-sour taste and a mild aroma reminiscent of the Gravensteiner variety. The storage life of the fruits after harvest is short.

The tree is medium-sized with a wide crown, preferring nutritious soils and sites protected from the wind. The variety shows resistance to canker and powdery mildew, but is sensitive to scab. Yield varies from medium to high. The plant is adapted to Scandinavian conditions and is able to withstand winters in coastal areas.
